yeats's tower
Yeats Tower at Thoor Ballylee is now a famous tourist attraction, Thoor Ballylee once a favourite haunt of the Irish poet W.B.Yeats and which is now an Interpretive Centre. It was featured in the film during the courting scene when Mary Kate took off her shoes and stockings and ran through the stream, the stream was shallow in 1951 as it was a dry summer.
