This Abbey was used in the film. "The ancestral home of the ancient Flynn's" was Michaeleen Og's description of this building, during the courting scene to Sean Thornton, Thornton was not conned by this. Ross Abbey was also used as part of the thunder and lightening scene by the window, some special effects was also used in this scene.
