This bridge was used as one of the locations. It is called the Red Bridge, once this bridge had red railings but Galway Council have replaced them with stone walls. It was across this bridge Mary Kate and Sean travelled on their way to Castletown. Also at this location in the distance is the beautiful Kylemore Abbey also seen in the film as they crossed the bridge, the abbey is now used as a College for girls, for tourists it has a craft shop and tea rooms.
