It's very sad to see the White O'Mornin Cottage in such a state I took this photo three years ago, I think all the fans of John Wayne and The Quiet Man movie would agree with me that It should be restored as a tribute to a great movie. In front of the cottage is the Failmore River, the stepping stones that Sean and Mary Kate used to get to and from the cottage are still in the stream. It was across this stream that the big bed was brought to the cottage. To the left of the stepping stones is the Concrete Footbridge where Michaeleen Og said "Good night and god bless you Sean Thornton" as he went to spend his first night in the cottage. The road up to the cottage is very muddy, there is now a building in front of the cottage a little to the left.
