The wealthiest woman in Innisfree was the Widow Tillane. She had neither chick nor child, poor soul, but she was well respected and good to the poor. Now you are in Ashford Castle car park, but a few years ago it was the location of the Widow Tillane's house, which was a large two storey, whitewashed house. In the film, the Widow Tillane came down the same road in her pony and trap as you did today by car. Unfortunately the Widow Tillane's house was demolished to make way for the car-park.
