Lettergesh Beach was the location for the Innisfree Horse Race. It was during the race meeting that Michaeleen Og sprung the trap on Red Will Danagher, "Two women in one house and one of them a red head". The best advantage point to see this location is by standing with your back to Lettergesh Post Office. The next picture along this stretch of  beach is at the end of the race.
