You are now in the grounds of Ashford Castle on a one-way system, and are on the third fairway of Ashford Castle Golf Course, although in 1951 the golf course did not exist. This area was used during the fight scene, while Mary Kate was being dragged along by Sean. The road that is in use today is at the foot of the tree's and is in the same position as it was in 1951. It was also here that Maureen O'Hara made her entrance into the film herding sheep.
