Two-Fisted Law 1932, Starring Tim McCoy, Alice Day, Wheeler Oakman, John Wayne, Walter Brennan, Rancher Tim Clark {Tim McCoy} borrows money from Bob Russell {Wheeler Oakman}, who then rustles Clark's cattle so he will be unable to repay the money. Thus Russell is able to cheat Clark out of his ranch. Clark becomes a prospector for silver and ultimately comes to settle accounts with Russell and crooked deputy Bendix {Walter Brennan}.

His task is complicated, and his ethics are compromised, when he falls in love with his boss's daughter  Maura {Laraine Day}.

the undefeated

The Undefeated 1969, Starring John Wayne, Rock Hudson, Antonio Aguilar, After the Civil War, ex-Union Colonel John Henry Thomas {John Wayne} and ex-Confederate Colonel James Langdon {Rock Hudson} are leading two desperate groups through strife-torn Mexico. John Henry and company are bringing horses to the unpopular Mexican government for $35 a head while Langdon is leading a contingent of displaced southerners, who are looking for a new life in Mexico after losing their property to carpetbaggers. The two men are eventually forced to mend their differences in order to fight off both bandits and revolutionaries, as they try to lead their friends and kin to safety.

Wake of the Red Witch 1948, Starring John Wayne, Gail Russell, Gig Young, Luther Adler & Adele Mara, Captain Ralls {John Wayne} goes after sacred pearls on a tropical island where he falls for the sultry Angelique Desaix {Gail Russell}. Locked in bitter rivalry for the woman and the pearls, with Mayrant Sidneye {Luther Adler} the owner of his ship The Red Witch, Ralls purposefully sinks the ship which is carrying millions in gold. Later he makes a daring attempt to salvage it and fights a giant octopus in the submerged Red Witch.

the war wagon

The War Wagon 1967, Starring John Wayne, Kirk Douglas, Howard Keel & Bruce Cabot, Taw Jackson {John Wayne} returns from prison having survived being shot, to the ranch and gold that Frank Pierce {Bruce Cabot} stole from him. Jackson makes a deal with Lomax {Kirk Douglas}, the man who shot him 5 years ago to join forces against Pierce and steal a large gold shipment. The shipments are transported in the War Wagon, an armoured stage coach that is heavily guarded. The two of them become the key players in the caper to separate Pierce from Jackson's gold.

West of the Divide 1934, Starring John Wayne, Virginia Brown Faire, George 'Gabby' & Lloyd Whitlock, Ted Hayden {John Wayne} impersonates a killer called Gat Gant and joins Gentry's gang only to learn later that Gentry {Lloyd Whitlock} was the one who killed his father. He saves Virginia Winters {Virginia Brown Faire} dad's ranch from Gentry and also rescues his long-lost brother Spud.

westward ho!

Westward Ho! 1935, Starring John Wayne, Sheila Bromley, Frank McGlynn Jr & Jack Curtis, Ballard's {Jack Curtis} trail jumpers attack the Wyatt Company wagon train, killing young John's parents and kidnapping his brother, Jim. In post-Civil War California, John Wyatt {John Wayne}, now a man, pulls together a vigilante posse, The Singing Riders, who all ride white horses, dressed alike, and ride the trails singing and rounding up outlaw gangs. Meanwhile, John is ever on the lookout for the gang that murdered his parents.

winds of the wasteland

Winds of the Wasteland 1936, Starring John Wayne, Phyllis Fraser, Lew Kelly, Lane Chandler, Douglas Cosgrove & Sam Flint, The Pony Express days are coming to an end, with riders John Blair {John Wayne} and his friend Larry Adams {Lane Chandler}, are out of a job but are given a pair of horses used by the pony express line. They pay Cal Drake {Douglas Cosgrove} of Buchanan City a big price for the Crescent City line and equipment, and arrive there to find it is a ghost mining town and has only two residents: eccentric, self-proclaimed Mayor "Rocky" O'Brien {Lew Kelly} and Dr. William Forsythe {Sam Flint}. With the arrival from back east of Barbara Forsythe {Phyllis Fraser} the doctor's daughter, O'Brien happily changes the blackboard population sign from two to five.

The Wings of Eagles 1957, Starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara & Dan Dailey, Frank "Spig" Wead {John Wayne}, is a Navy man through and through who, despite all his success in the service, was never able to make much of a connection with his wife {Maureen O'Hara} and daughters. John Wayne gives a downright excellent performance as Frank "Spig" Wead and Maureen O'Hara is back as his love interest.

Without Reservations 1946, Starring Claudette Colbert, John Wayne & Don DeFore, Kit Madden {Claudette Colbert} is travelling to Hollywood, where her best-selling novel is to be filmed. Aboard the train, she encounters Marines Rusty {John Wayne} and Dink {Don DeFore}, who don't know she is the author of the famous book, and who don't think much of the ideas it proposes. She and Rusty are greatly attracted, but she doesn't know how to deal with his dislike for the book's author.

wyoming outlaw

Wyoming Outlaw 1939, Starring John Wayne, Ray Corrigan, Raymond Hatton, Don 'Red' Barry & LeRoy Mason, Will Parker {Don 'Red' Barry} has been destroyed by a local politician Joe Balsinger {LeRoy Mason} and now must steal to feed his family. He steals a steer from the Three Mesquiteers, and is hired by the Mesquiteers to help with their herd of cattle but things don't go according to plan.
